Yup, I just read on Ryan Stewart&#039;s blog http://blog.digitalbackcountry.com/?p=1471 that Google always had the ability (somewhat) to index swfs. But it definitely looks like a big step in the right direction. I have to grab an hour or so later on today to go read up more on the topic.

This seems so far like a bigger step than just deep linking etc, so it looks very cool!

MS rejecting Adobe&#039;s help doesn&#039;t surprise me in the least :P</description>

This was actually announced a while back, but it&#039;s nice to see concrete results.
Microsoft refused Adobe&#039;s help, so MS LiveSearch wont get this feature (see The Register article).
