Wow, I’ve not actively blogged in a long time. What’s been going on all this time? The answer is…life. I’m working now in the field of Data Science and my current title is Senior Software Engineer. I’m also going back to school at Old Dominion University and have changed majors to Data Science specializing in Data Visualization. For the past few years, I’ve very much been a hybrid software engineer and data engineer so it’s a natural transition to the world of big data.
I had to throw on a new WordPress theme and re-familiarize myself with the block editor, get rid of some plugins, etc but I think I’ll stick around blog some more about data science and security topics. In years past, there was a ton of Adobe Flex and related software information here (still available for posterity). But going forward, there’s plenty of helpful topics on AI/ML, big data, python, Azure, AWS, cloud security, and Linux that I plan to write about.
